Another August Birthday!!!

Joining MTV and Paul Reynolds is... my TV!!!! I named it Earl because it's old and doesn't work too well anymore. Well, old for a TV, anyway. Sometime this month, it's turning twenty years old. Not sure what day, because the back just says "Manufactured: August 1986.", so I'm not sure what day. But it's lasted longer than mosty TVs without going to the junkyard, so I think it deserves a post. It and my Super Nintendo Gordy have served me well over the years. People say I'm living behind the times, but, hey, they're just jealous I still have my original GameBoy.

May the Force be with you, Earl.

Another question

If Amish people are supposed to be so pure and stuff like that, how come they have so many kids?

May the Foorce be with you, Amish people.

Respect the Pink Man!!!!!

This is the cover of AFOS's second album, Listen. Or, as I like to call it, The Pink Man. Not the album, I mean the cover. I took the inner sleeve (which also has the Pink Man on it) out of my copy of the album and folded it a little and put it in the sleeve on the back my algebra binder. Now I go up to people, turn my binder around and go either "Respect the Pink Man, yo!" or "It's the Pink Man! Fear it!!" The people that look at me weird are just jealous that the Pink Man is cooler than them.

May the Force be with you, Pink Man.

"Dude, They're Little and Fat!"

School just started where I live, and on the first day I was sitting at the lunch table, well...eating lunch. The milk cartons look different this year. They're shorter and wider. Everybody was quiet and then Destinee just goes "Dude, they're little and fat!" It was a pretty weird experience. Unfortunately, me an Amanda had food in our mouthes, and we were trying not to laugh. So everyone at the lunch table was looking at us weird. But what can I say, we're weird anyway. Me and Amanda will never, NEVER, let Destinee live that down.
May the Force be with you, Destinee.

Men Without Hats/ The Great Ones Remember

Artiste: Men Without Hats
Album: Rhythm of Youth
Song: The Great Ones Remember

Greatly overshadowed by the Safety Dance

Imagine yourself on the verge of committing
An act that you've always found silly or strange
Imagine yourself on the edge of discovering
Lately things have not been going your way
Communication is hard to establish
When things like a state of mind get in the way
And people don't eat, they just think what you feed them, now
The horses with their blinders eating the hay
Silently watching yourself in the mirror
Wondering if somebody else is to blame
Could it be somebody's in on your destiny?
Lately things have trouble looking the same
Could it be somebody else has the answer?
Could it be somebody's pulling my strings?
Say that is quite a nice dress that your wearing, now
Jump into another ring
Can you imagine what we put up with now
Generals and morons say we are still as proud
We coin the phrases like
We must when or die
All too confusing for me
Hello, goodbye
Don't forget that the great ones remember and please
Don't forget that we're nearing December
Isn't it funny the way it's connected
The print on your shirt and the one on the wall
Imagine if everyone had the same haircut
Wouldn't it be funny running it all?
Communication is hard to maintain
When the clothes that you're wearing
Are hurting my eyes
Things like improvement don't come overnight, boy
But at least you could try
Can you imagine what we put up with now
Generals and morons say we are still as proud
We coin the phrases like
We must win or die
All too confusing for me
Hello, goodbye
Don't forget that the great ones remember and please
Don't forget that we're nearing December and please
Don't forget that the great ones remember and please
Don't forget where you were toward December and please...
(ect., ect.)
May the Force be with you, Men Without Hats

Paul Reynolds' Birthday!

This is Paul Reynolds. He played guitar in A Flock of Seagulls, until he got into drugs and dropped out in 1985, which really sucked. (They realeased another album after that, without him, but it wasn't as good, and it flopped.) Most people don't even know who Paul Reynolds is, but I thought he was that best part of the band. And it's his birthday, so I thought I'd do a post about him.
May the Force be with you, and happy birthday, Paul Reynolds.

Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday, MTV!

I know, I know, real original title, but I'm not really original right now. As you probably know, today is MTV's 25th anniversary. I was hoping they would be showing some decent programming for a change, but NO, all the stuff from when music was actually original is on VH1 Classic, the one channel I would watch every single day, if we got it [GOD, SARA SUCKS.]. It also sucks that MTV is no longer devoted to music; they should change their name. How about RTV, for reality TV? That seems pretty accurate. Then agaian, I probably wouldn't watch MTV, because I don't listen to new music anyway.

May the Force be with you and happy birthday, MTV.
The Goblin King gets what he wants. Fear him, love him, do as he says, and he will be your slave!!!!!!!! No, wait. Not yours. Mine.
